FEATURES OF THE CJV150 SERIES
High speed printing (4 colours)
Uses two cartridges per color in four-color mode. When the ink in one cartridge runs out, the system automatically switches to the second cartridge of the same color, allowing for long unattended printing runs.
The 3-stage heating system promotes optimal drop creation. Using patented Mimaki technology to heat the media to a controlled temperature, the ink is fixed while maintaining high image quality.
- Pre-heater: optimizes the temperature of the substrate before printing
- Heater during printing: dries the ink after it has been released onto the substrate and before it begins to float, improving color development
- Post-heater: Improves ink drying and helps achieve smooth absorption
- The intake fans positioned on the top of the machine optimize ink drying
MAPS3, by dispersing ink drops between one pass and another, reduces the “banding” effect, uneven drying and lines in bidirectional printing
This technology ensures high-quality print resolution by releasing ink droplets in straight lines with almost perfectly round dots, creating crisp, clear letters, lines and edges. The variable drop, in 3 different sizes (small, medium and large), allows the printing of high quality images with uniform shades.
The waveform is also optimized to minimize the risk of nozzle loss.
Larger drop sizes avoid gaps between drops and create a high-density print.
Silver color is available in SS21 ink configurations. With 1.67* times the brightness of traditional silver inks, SS21 ink adds brilliant, exceptional mirror effects to your prints.

Orange can be used together with four-color to extend the color range and reach 94.8% coverage of the PANTONE table. Thanks to a wider color range it is therefore possible to simulate, for example, the freshness of food and company colors can be reproduced more faithfully.
Light black ink improves grayscale gradation, resulting in beautiful, high-quality monochrome images. The special gray balance control without unexpected color variations allows you to obtain uniform, non-grainy skin tones and perfect shades of grey.
The NRS system – Nozzle Restoration System – replaces defective nozzles with working ones until the technician arrives for maintenance. This feature enables uninterrupted printing operations and continuous productivity.

The CJV150 Series is equipped with the Mimaki-NCU automatic nozzle control system. Clogged nozzles are automatically detected and cleaned by the system; if the problem is not resolved by cleaning, the machine automatically activates the nozzle reset function (NRS) and printing can then continue without interruption.
These functions allow you to significantly reduce print waste caused by clogged nozzles during a continuous print run.
MCT is a standard feature included to effectively avoid the deposition of white and silver pigments through regular ink recirculation. This avoids problems and ensures stable printing right from the start of the print run. Furthermore, MCT contributes to the reduction of ink waste, thereby supporting environmentally friendly and cost-effective applications.
