The light black ink allows you to create beautiful, high-quality monochrome images. The special gray balance control without unexpected color variations allows you to obtain uniform, non-grainy skin tones and perfect shades of grey.

The white ink guarantees color brightness even on transparent/colored media. It can be used as a spot color or as a background before printing the colors. Higher opacity is achieved by using a larger ink drop.

Silver ink is 1.6 times shinier than conventional ink and creates brilliant, stunning mirror effects. Even after a 3-year aging test, the brightness is better than ES3 ink.

• Silver ink can be used alone or in combination with other colors to create a variety of metallic effects.
• The SS21 metallic color collection contains 648 colors that can be easily printed using RasterLink6 RIP software.
• An operator can choose a target metallic color from the Swatch Collection.
• There are 3 types of Metallic Color Collections available.
• Orange ink has been added to the SS21 metallic color collection. The CMYKOrLk + WSi Set allows for a more realistic expression of metallic colors. There are 108 different red/orange colors available.

• 3 different drop sizes are automatically selected depending on the selected print quality (profile).
• When working with SS21 ink, the drop sizes are 4pl, 7pl, 8pl, 14pl, 16pl, 24pl and 35pl.

The 4th generation of Mimaki’s Advanced Pass System – MAPS4 – reduces banding and inconsistent colors. MAPS incorporates an advanced algorithm to print the border areas between steps to obtain beautiful quality prints with a homogeneous appearance.

MCT allows stable production and the reduction of ink unloading operations and therefore waste. The continuous circulation of the white and silver ink in the duct and reservoir prevents the pigments from settling.

• Ink that lands on the wiper is automatically removed during the print head cleaning procedure.
• Ink residue on the wiper thus does not cause any contamination of the print head.
• Daily maintenance is easier thanks to the automatic cleaning of the wiper.

The new ID CUT function, thanks to barcode reading, allows continuous and automatic operations with minimal operator intervention:

• Multiple cutting function without interruption.
• It reduces the need for operator intervention and therefore the interruptions between different cutting jobs.
• Avoids errors, saves material and speeds up the process.

• RL6 Plus prints both the code and the ID image.
• The ID barcode includes cutting and rotation information.
• The optical reader detects the ID barcode and cuts automatically.
  

Crop marks are automatically recognized so that cutting is always precise. The continuous operation, without the need for the presence of the operator, increases productivity while maintaining cutting accuracy.

Reducing the margin between registration marks minimizes material waste. The cutting process is accelerated thanks to fewer registration marks to recognize.

• Half cut / Through cut / Cut on the dotted line , selectable depending on the application
• Over cut : ensures defined and perfectly cut contours thanks to the overlapping of the cut on the start and end points of the path. Very effective in the presence of thick or rubbery supports.
• Corner cut : the edge of the blade overlaps the other corners so that the same corners are cut cleanly.
• Cut&Print : thin sheets such as heat transfers are cut without waiting for the ink to dry.

• The pinch roller pressure automatically changes in 4 levels (High/Middle/Low/OFF).
• Optimization of material insertion by selecting the most suitable pressure.
• The fully automatic function makes unattended printing possible.
• Raising the central levers prevents pinch roller ink from soiling the material.
