Building on the success of the JFX200-2513, the new Mimaki JFX200-2513 EX defines the next generation in UV LED Large Flatbed printing. Thanks to our new 3D printing technology, the JFX200-2513 EX introduces 2.5D layered printing, where our Rasterlink6 PLUS RIP automatically creates up to 17 layers based on just one greyscale image.
Each layer is processed differently, creating incredible realistic depth with varying layer thicknesses on the printed media, resulting in beautiful, seamless textures. With a high-speed mode of 35m2/h, the newly designed stepped head block enables simultaneous printing of color and white.

LARGE FORMAT UV LED FLATBED PRINTER WITH TRIPLE THE PRODUCTIVITY

JFX200-2513 EX, evolution of the JFX Series, is the Mimaki UV LED flatbed characterized by tripled productivity even in simultaneous white and color printing, speed, versatility and innovation. The new 2.5D Texture Maker mode allows you to create high-value relief prints in just a few simple clicks to easily reproduce effect textures that simulate wood grain or oil paint.

The Variable Data function is also available on the most popular flatbed on the market: an extra convenience for optimizing production times and costs!

The new draft mode, 300x300HQ 4P Bi Normal, enables printing speeds of up to 35m²/h in simultaneous printing in 4 colors + White… 2x compared to the previous model.

IoT Automation

High productivity and stability make the JFX200-2513 EX ideal for integration into automated workflows for unattended printing.

2.5D Texture

Simple 2.5D printing allows you to easily create irregular surfaces, such as wood texture on various materials, adding high value to your prints.

The main task of RIP (Raster Image Processor) software is to convert the different file formats to be printed into data that the printer “understands” as raster data. It includes advanced PDF support, fast processing time, variable data printing and barcode support.

New 2.5D printing function

It is now possible to create 2.5D surveys in a few simple steps with RasterLink6 PLUS

  • Create relief textures on any type of material
  • Bridges the gap between 2D and 3D applications.

 

 

New Option for printing on objects with greater thicknesses

Thanks to the new optional, it is possible to print on rigid and flexible materials or objects with a height of up to 102mm . To print on materials with a height of less than 52mm it is necessary to use the spacers supplied.
To extend the range of printable materials, the optional can be added both to already installed machines and to new machines during the first installation.

 

 

Improved usage

  • A pedal is installed on the front of the printer to easily turn the vacuum device on/off without having to access the control panels
  • The suction units can be turned on/off via the control panel
  • The suction area can be set depending on the size of the material
  • A more powerful suction unit is available as an option.

 

Ethernet connection

  • In addition to the USB2.0 connection, an Ethernet connection is also available on the JFX200-2513 EX
  • It is advantageous because it allows you to connect several printers with a single computer
  • Installation is done simply by inserting the cables into the network.

 

Email notifications

  • Remote printer monitoring
  • Printer status indication can be sent from the printer itself to a PC or mobile phone via the Internet.

 

IOT automation

  • Mimaki printers can be integrated, thanks to MDL* commands, with external peripherals thus automating the production line

Print without interruptions

Automatic maintenance for uninterrupted printing:

  • NCU (Nozzle Check Unit) automatically checks the condition of the nozzles
  • When missing nozzles are detected, they are cleaned automatically
  • If nozzles are still missing after cleaning, NRS (Nozzle Recovery System) will automatically replace them with working nozzles, so you don’t have to wait for service.

 

 

Improved UV-LED curing unit

  • Compared to the previous model, the newly designed UV-LED unit provides up to 150% higher brightness level
  • The result is an even more stable and faster drying of the inks

  • UV-LED lamps have a long life and require little maintenance
  • The life of the LED-UV is approximately 5,000 hours (while the life of the metal halide lamp is approximately 700 hours).

MAPS2 for banding-free printing

  • MAPS2 eliminates banding by dispersing ink droplets between passes

  • When printing in MAPS2 auto mode, the MAPS2 condition is automatically selected for each print mode
  • Printing speed does not change using MAPS2
  • The optimal conditions of the settings vary depending on the print data or material. It is recommended to do an image quality test first

 

 

Variable drop: System for reducing the grainy appearance

  • Variable Droplet Technology allows 3 different ink droplet sizes (small, medium and large) to print high-quality images with smooth gradients
  • Variable Drop printing uses small drops to produce smoother gradations and larger drops to create solid, consistent colors
  • Producing droplets in three different sizes, high resolution graphic files are printed without grainy appearance, even at high speed and in low resolution mode

Waveform control for precise ink droplet placement

  • Droplets are optimized by adjusting the frequency depending on the ink viscosity to accurately position and form individual ink droplets
  • The result is crisp lines, text and images that are optimized even in low resolution mode
