The Mimaki JFX500-2131 printer sets a new record for large-format UV LED flatbed printers. It achieves production speeds of up to 60m²/h, delivering incredibly high quality down to a minimum of 2 text points on a massive 210 x 310 cm print area.
With the Mimaki JFX500-2131 printer, you can print on a wide range of materials, such as: Acrylics, Polycarbonates, PVC, Glass, Aluminum, Metal, Polyesters, Foam Board, Wood and Stone. High image quality is achieved through the use of a resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi and variable dot sizes. The minimum drop size is 7 picoliters, which produces a smooth and natural gradation without a grainy appearance, even in 4-color mode.

FEATURES OF THE JFX500-2131
The Mimaki JFX500-2131 printer uses UV LED technology which does not generate excessive heat, thus allowing direct printing on a variety of materials, even thermosensitive ones, without any deformation of the support.
UV LED printing does not require any drying time, the prints are immediately ready for subsequent processing.
UV fixing allows immediate drying, therefore requiring no additional time after printing. In this way the production process is shortened ensuring greater efficiency.
Thanks to the innovative print heads (6 heads, staggered in banks of 3), JFX500-2131 reaches a production speed of 60m2/h.
Intelligent Micrometric Advancement System (IMS)
The new micrometric advancement system of the head uses a high precision linear scale to ensure extremely accurate positioning of the ink drop, drastically reducing the banding effect and allowing even the perfectly readable body 2 to be printed .
High resolution at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi and variable drop
Thanks to a printing resolution of up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi and the management of the variable drop with a minimum size of just 7 pl, excellent quality images are obtained. Even in four-color printing, reproduction with absolute precision and grain-free prints are obtained, with uniform and soft shades.

- LUS-200: Highly flexible ink, up to 200
Exceptional color reproduction, bright images even on transparent or colored materials thanks to the white ink. Used as a background or as a spot color it does not reduce printing speed.
By activating this function, UV curing occurs more gradually so as to minimize any banding effect.
The machine is equipped with square grippers to ensure precise alignment of the material on the table. It is sufficient to fix the support to the pliers, check its position and then set the working parameters. The result will be a print without misalignments.
This function temporarily restores any deflected nozzles, so the operator is able to continue printing with the same quality level, without any machine downtime.
The Mimaki ink circulation system promotes smooth circulation of white ink, eliminating the risk of pigment buildup and reducing waste to benefit your business and the environment.

- Three-layer printing function in a single pass
It is possible to print three layers (color, white, color) in a single pass. By applying a layer of white as a base you have a perfect reproduction of beautiful natural colors on transparent media. Window decals can be created with extreme precision and without register skips due to printing in multiple passes. - Layout function
Multiple images, even of different sizes, to be printed at the same resolution, can be freely arranged in the work area, but also automatically reordered by the software in order to reduce material waste thanks to an efficient layout. - Multiple profiles and printing simultaneously
It is possible to assign multiple profiles that use the same resolution to a single image and print them simultaneously. This is particularly useful if you want to carry out tests to choose the quality or color reproduction you want to achieve. - Web update function
Through a simple web connection it is possible to update the software and download profiles.
