FEATURES OF THE JV150 SERIES
When using 4-color printing mode, 2 cartridges are loaded per color. When a cartridge runs out, the system automatically switches to the second one of the same colour, in this way it is possible to print for a long time even in the absence of the operator.
A 3-stage heater fixes the ink drops released onto the print media. Using patented Mimaki technology to heat the media to a controlled temperature, the ink is fixed while maintaining high image quality.
- Pre-heater: optimizes the temperature of the substrate before printing
- Heater during printing: dries the ink after it has been released onto the substrate and before it begins to float, improving color development
- Post-heater: Improves ink drying and helps achieve smooth absorption
- The intake fans positioned on the top of the machine optimize ink drying
Reduces the “banding” effect by dispersing ink drops between one pass and another.
It ensures higher quality print resolution by releasing ink droplets in straight lines with almost perfectly round dots and creating crisp, clear letters, lines, edges.
The variable drop, in 3 different sizes (small, medium and large), allows the printing of high quality images with uniform shades.
Depending on the type of ink used and the printing mode, the drop size is selected: 4pl/7pl/8pl/14pl/16pl/21pl/29pl/35pl.
Creates a high-density print by removing gaps between dots.
Orange can be used together with four-color to extend the color range and reach 94.8% coverage of the PANTONE table.
Thanks to a wider color range it is therefore possible to simulate, for example, the freshness of food and company colors can be reproduced more faithfully.
Light black ink improves grayscale gradation, resulting in beautiful, high-quality monochrome images. The special gray balance control without unexpected color variations allows you to obtain uniform, non-grainy skin tones and perfect shades of grey.
The NRS system – Nozzle Restoration System – replaces defective nozzles with working ones until the technician arrives for maintenance. This feature enables uninterrupted printing operations and continuous productivity.
*It is possible to exclude up to 10 nozzles per nozzle row.
The JV150 series is equipped with the Mimaki-NCU automatic nozzle control system. Clogged nozzles are automatically detected and cleaned by the system; if the problem is not resolved by cleaning, the machine automatically activates the nozzle reset function (NRS) and printing can then continue without interruption.
These functions allow you to significantly reduce print waste caused by clogged nozzles during a continuous print run.

MCT is an included standard feature that effectively prevents the deposition of white color pigments through regular ink recirculation. This avoids problems and guarantees stable printing right from the start of the print run. Furthermore, this system contributes to the reduction of ink waste, thus supporting environmentally friendly and cost-effective applications.
