MIMAKI SOFTWARE RASTER LINK
The main task of RIP (Raster Image Processor) software is to convert the different file formats to be printed into data that the printer “understands” as raster data. It includes advanced PDF support, fast processing time, variable data printing and barcode support.

The advantages of UV LED technology
UV LED technology brings multiple advantages:
- Longer life and lower consumption of UV LED lamps compared to traditional halogen lamps
- Less downtime thanks to immediate switching on and off of the lamps
- Reduction of waste and warehouse quantities thanks to direct and on-demand printing with small production batches
- No ozone generation in the working environment
- Odorless prints
- Very low noise level.
UV polymerization allows immediate drying, so no additional waiting times are necessary after printing. In this way the duration of the production process is reduced, guaranteeing greater efficiency and a reduction in costs.
Mimaki UJF-3042FX supports 3 different ink types:
- LH-100: rigid ink characterized by superior chemical and scratch resistance and excellent image reproduction. Available in 4 colors CMYK + W, Cl, Pr
- LF-140: Flexible ink that offers greater elasticity than LH-100. Available in 6 colors CMYKLcLm + W and Pr*
- LF-200: Super flexible ink that allows up to 200% elongation during post-print processes. Available in 4 CMYK + W colors
* Clear (Cl) varnish is paired with LH-100 inks and can also be used in combination with LF-140s.
Exceptional color reproduction, bright images even on transparent or colored materials thanks to the highly opaque white ink. Used as a background or as a spot color it does not reduce printing speed.
The primer on the machine, automatically managed via RIP software and deposited by the print heads, simplifies the production process compared to traditional manual application. The primer is in fact managed like a normal color and can also be deposited only in specific areas as a base for creating unique and high-impact finishes.
Primer may also be necessary for printing difficult materials by improving ink adhesion.
UJF-3042FX allows you to add value to your prints thanks to the clear varnish that can be used to create glossy and opaque reserves or to further protect images. Thanks to Mimaki microprecision, it is also possible to register print different layers of ink and/or transparent varnish to obtain extraordinary relief effects and to even create braille writing.
You can print on:
- objects with a maximum thickness of 50 mm.
- irregular objects/surfaces, with a tolerance of up to 2 mm .
This useful function temporarily restores any deflected nozzles, so that the operator is able to continue printing at the same quality level, without any machine downtime.
The Mimaki Ink Circulation System promotes the smooth circulation of white ink, eliminating the risk of pigment deposits and reducing waste for the benefit of your business and the environment.
